52% Viognier / 36% Gewurztraminer / 12% Chardonnay
Winemaker notes: The foundation of this beautiful white wine is the harmonious blend of three amazing vineyard sites. The Viognier hails from the famed Shake Ridge Ranch in Amador County, the Gewurztraminer is from 45 year old estate plantings on Olivet Rd in the Russian River Valley, and the 1 barrel of Chardonnay is from the Dry Creek AVA in Sonoma. The wine enters with verbose aromatics of fresh honeysuckle flower, candied orange blossom and a touch of key lime pie. This wine brightens the palate with a high arc of acidity tempered by pleasing viscosity and a subtle creaminess. The only thing that would make this wine better is a plate full of freshly shucked Kumamoto oysters.
